US Airways came in at No. 11 among 16 airlines ranked for on-time arrivals in May, according to an Air Travel Consumer Report released this month by the U.S. Department of Transportation.
US Airways, which is based in Tempe, Ariz., but operates its largest hub at Charlotte/Douglas International Airport, had an on-time arrival rate of 74.8 percent, based on flight information from 76 airports.
At No. 1 was Hawaiian Airlines, with an on-time arrival rate of 91.4 percent. At the bottom of the list was American Eagle, with a rate of 67.6 percent.
In a ranking of 16 airlines with regularly scheduled flights canceled 5 percent of the time or more, US Airways was 9th, with 4.5 percent, in May.
Also in May, among all complaint categories, the largest amount for US Airways, 39, was for flight problems. The carrier logged a total of 94 complaints for the month.
