Bank of America Corp. said it has a new chief risk officer.
Terry Laughlin currently heads the bank’s legacy asset servicing division. He will become chief risk officer late in the third quarter, the Charlotte-based bank said.
Until Laughlin takes on his new role, Paula Dominick, global compliance executive, is serving as interim chief risk officer.
The bank’s former chief risk officer, Bruce Thompson, is now chief financial officer for the bank.
Also, today is the first day of work for Gary Lynch, Bank of America’s new global head of legal, compliance and regulatory relations. His hiring was announced in April.
Bank of America has roughly 5,800 bank offices and about 18,000 ATMs.
