Dale Jarrett Racing Adventure said it set a sales record for June.
The 12-year-old Hickory-based business, which allows visitors to drive racecars on racetrack, said its June sales exceeded $245,000. That was 7.5 percent higher than sales in June 2010, the company said.
Thanks to Father’s Day, June is traditionally the second best month of the year for the company, with December being the best.
“Following our return to profitability in 2010, June’s figures demonstrate that we are still enjoying solid organic growth while we continue to look for new opportunities in order to further monetize the Dale Jarrett brand or otherwise expand our business by adding or acquiring additional revenue streams to enhance shareholder value,” CEO Tim Shannon said.
