Cost, risks not worth custom addresses, some say

When the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers announced last month that new Internet domain names would become available in January, the news was heralded as changing the face of the Internet forever.
But in Charlotte, some businesspeople are reacting to the announcement from ICANN, a California-based nonprofit, with a collective "who cares?"
