Charlotte-based SPX Corp. said it will combine two existing facilities to upgrade its food and beverage processing center in Soeborg, Denmark.
The enhanced facility will feature additional equipment and processes and is expected to provide SPX customers with expanded testing and lab capabilities.
“This expanded facility is part of our strategy to further enhance our competitive presence in Europe and better position us to serve the critical research and development needs of our food and beverage customers globally,” Don Canterna, president of SPX’s flow technology segment, said.
SPX also operates a food processing testing and lab facility in Silkeborg, Denmark.
The expanded Soeborg facility is scheduled to be operational by the end of July.
