Charlotte lands on RelocateAmerica’s Top Places to Live report

Charlotte has made the top 100 list of RelocateAmerica’s Top Places to Live report and is in the running to be in the top 10.
Brighton, Mich.-based RelocateAmerica is publishing the annual list for the 14th time.
“We are looking for a strong show of support among local residents, community and business leaders as the top 10 breakout category winners are now determined through a special nomination process,” Steve Nickerson, RelocateAmerica president, said in a press release. “Community pride is a good indicator of great leadership and a mark of a great place to live, work and play.”
The voting for the top 10 breakout list is new for this year’s ranking. It’s part of a yearlong initiative to give local residents and leaders input about how their community rates in various breakout categories. Released throughout the upcoming year will be six breakout categories, ranging from the top areas for education to the top areas for recreation.
The first top 10 breakout list will be determined by input gathered on at RelocateAmerica’s website starting Monday and running to July 31. The results of the first breakout lists will be released Aug. 2, 2012.
