Commissioners OK consolidating HR, IT positions
In a move to save costs, the Mecklenburg County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday approved a plan to consolidate some human resources and information technology functions with the library system.
They OK’d consolidating two HR positions and eight IT posts from the library system to the county to save money.
Commissioners Neil Cooksey, Bill James and Jennifer Roberts were absent.
