Honda breaks ground on financial services facility in Ballantyne Corporate Park
Honda broke ground today on its new 25,000-square-foot North Carolina regional office in Charlotte.
The facility will be in Ballantyne Corporate Park. It will service North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.
Honda plans to seek U.S. Green Building Council Leadership in Energy Efficient Design, or LEED, certification for the office.
Charlotte is already home to American Honda Finance Corp.’s regional office. The 120 employees in the office will relocate to the new facility once it is completed in 2012.
