Richmond, Va.-based CapTech said it is expanding its presence in Charlotte by opening office space uptown and doubling its number of employees in the city to 20 by the end of the year.
The information technology-consulting company, which already operates out of the 10th floor of 401 N. Tryon St., said it has signed a lease for 3,626 square feet at the Charlotte Plaza office building at 201 S. College St.
“With recent client acquisitions, we are accelerating our growth in Charlotte,” CapTech CEO Sandy Williamson said. “Charlotte is the financial services hub of the South and offers us a unique opportunity to build out our infrastructure and ramp up our team to work with clients across the nation.”
CapTech said it will service new clients from its Charlotte offices. The company has contracts with Raymond James, the state of North Carolina and some Charlotte-based companies.
