Bidders interested in leasing buildings owned by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools will have a chance to tour the facilities next week.

The sites — 11 school buildings — will be closed as part of CMS’ plans to reduce operating costs.

Bidding began March 4, and bids will be accepted until 2 p.m. May 13.

The tours will run April 18-21. Those interested in taking a tour are asked to email realestate.cms.k12.nc.us.

The tour schedule:

• Pawtuckett Elementary, 10 a.m April 18

• Smith Middle, 10 a.m. April 18

• Amay James Pre-K Center, 1 p.m. April 18

• Wilson Middle, 3 p.m. April 18

• Wilmore Elementary, 10 a.m. April 19

• “Old” Sedgefield Elementary, 10 a.m. April 19

• Double Oaks Pre-K Center, 9 a.m., April 20

• Midwood High, 9 a.m., April 20

• Tryon Hills Pre-K Center, 11 a.m., April 20

• Plaza Road Pre-K Center, 1 p.m., April 20

• Davidson I.B. Middle, 9 a.m. April 21
