President Barack Obama has invited a bipartisan group of lawmakers from Charlotte and Chicago to the White House tonight to watch Obama’s hometown Chicago Bulls play the Charlotte Bobcats, according to a story by The Associated Press.

Earlier in the day, Obama is scheduled to meet with Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton before the basketball game, the AP reports.

Also today, Obama will meet with the national commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Richard Eubank.

Clinton, national security adviser Tom Donilon, CIA Director Leon Panetta and other top officials have scheduled a White House session to examine the ramifications of a no-fly zone over Libya and other potential military options, but Obama is not scheduled to attend.
