Cogdell Spencer reports 4Q loss
Cogdell Spencer said it had a net loss of $105.9 million, or $1.82 a share, in the fourth quarter, compared with earnings of $1.95 million, or 4 cents a share, in the same period one year earlier.
The Charlotte company reported revenue fell to $48.5 million in the recent quarter, from $51.3 million in the year-ago quarter.
For 2010, the company had a net loss of $103 million, or $2.17 a share, up from a net loss of $69.7 million, or $2.14 a share, for 2009. The company reported revenue of $182.4 million in 2010, down from $229.6 million in 2009.
Cogdell is a real estate investment trust that invests in specialty office buildings for the medical profession.
