The JFG coffee sign will once again be a part of Charlotte’s landscape.
On Monday, the Charlotte City Council approved placing the sign on top of the VBGB Beer Hall & Garden in the N.C. Music Factory Complex.
The 40-year-old sign was taken down from a site by the John Belk Freeway and Bank of America Stadium in 2009. It was then refurbished at the SignArt Co.
“People have a lot of affection for it,” Music Factory developer Noah Lazes said of the JFG sign.
The sign is expected to be placed in its new home in May.
