Crescent Resources today said it has hired Charlotte real estate attorney Nina Shor to create an in-house legal department for the real estate development company.

Shor, who had headed The Shor Law Firm in Charlotte before joining Crescent, will also be the Charlotte-based company’s general counsel.

“Nina’s advice and counsel will be an invaluable resource as we identify new opportunities throughout the region,” Crescent President and CEO Larry Corson said in a news release.

Shor is a member of the Home Builders Association of Charlotte, Charlotte Regional Partnership’s Film Commission, Urban Land Institute’s Inner City Council, Women Corporate Directors, Charlotte Women’s Executive and the Mecklenburg Bar Association’s board of directors, Executive Committee and Bar Center Search Committee.
