The 2012 Democratic National Convention will help lure businesses to Charlotte.

That’s according to a majority of voters who responded to a Mecklenburg Times’ online poll.

A total of 70.5 percent of voters said the convention will bring more businesses to Charlotte, while the rest said it will not.

The Mecklenburg Times has posted a new poll question: How do you feel about the proposed ReVenture Park plant to burn the county’s trash to convert it to energy?
