Lincolnton-based Carolina Trust Bank today said it had a loss of $413,000 in the fourth quarter of 2010, down from a loss of $1.42 million for the same quarter in 2009.

The company also reported net income of $221,000 in 2010 compared with a net loss of $2.67 million in 2009.

Total assets were $267.9 million as of Dec. 31, down from $268.9 million at the same time in 2009.

The bank has six full-service branches in Lincoln, Catawba and Gaston counties and a loan-production office in Rutherford County.
