Goodrich wins $47M Army contract for laser warning systems
Charlotte-based Goodrich Corp. today said it has been awarded a $47 million U.S. Army contract to provide components for laser warning systems.
The contract is good for five years.
The AN/AVR-2A(V) system enhances aircraft survivability by detecting multiple laser-aided threats and weapons.
Goodrich’s team in Danbury, Conn., will provide the components.
Goodrich supplies systems and services to the aerospace and defense industries.
