Family Dollar Stores recalls toys that pose burn hazard
Matthews-based Family Dollar Stores said it is recalling remote-controlled toy tanks that can overheat and melt, posing a burn hazard.
There are about 67,000 of the Authentic Heroes Target Practice Tank play sets.
The company said it has received five reports of the toys melting, but no injuries have been reported.
The toys, which were made in China, were sold exclusively at Family Dollars nationwide from September through December for about $5 apiece.
