Charlotte Mayor Anthony Foxx was scheduled to meet with President Obama this morning as part of a trip to the White House to meet with members of the U.S. Conference of Mayors, Foxx’s office said.
It will be Foxx’s second visit to meet with Obama since arriving in Washington, D.C., for the association’s three-day annual legislative conference, his office said.
Foxx is chairman of the USCM’s Small Business Task Force.
He was one of 14 mayors invited to meet with Obama Thursday to discuss the economy, job creation and infrastructure and investment in U.S. cities.
The USCM annual winter meeting ends today.
