Southern Energy Management wins green-jobs award

A Morrisville, N.C.-based energy-efficiency company with an office in Charlotte is among 10 U.S. companies that have won the first-ever green-jobs awards from Durham, N.C.-based SJF Institute and Oakland, Calif.-based Green For All.

Southern Energy Management has a Charlotte office at 900-C Center Park Drive. The company helps homeowners and builders reduce buildings’ energy use.

Only one other North Carolina company was named an honoree, Asheville-based FLS Energy.
