Bank of Granite Corp. posted a $4.3 million loss in the third quarter of 2010, up from $3.7 million during the same quarter in 2009.
The Granite Falls-based bank’s stock, which has fallen below $1 for more than 30 consecutive days, could be delisted from Nasdaq. The stock was trading at 68 cents per share as of Tuesday morning.
The bank’s last profitable quarter was in 2008. Bank of Granite has 22 branches, including four in Mecklenburg County.
