Polymer Group 3Q net income up

Charlotte-based Polymer Group said it had net income of $21.64 million in the third quarter, or $1.02 per share, up from $12.55 million, or 62 cents per share, in the same quarter last year.
The company produces materials for hygiene and health care products.
It has more than 3,000 employees worldwide.
