Council to discuss housing policy, legislative agenda

At Monday’s Charlotte City Council Meeting, the city’s Neighborhood and Business Services Department will present the council with revisions to the Housing Locational Policy.

The revisions were based on concerns, such as exemptions for special needs populations like the elderly and the disabled, raised during public forums in July and August.

The council will also discuss the proposed 2011 state legislative agenda and its impact on the city and the 2011 annexation ordinance and resolutions.
