Speaker shares strategies for growth marketing
By Sam Boykin CHARLOTTE — As we slowly emerge from the recession, business owners are now faced with trying to not only maintain, but also grow their companies in what can generously be described as a challenging economic landscape. “The business world is faced with a lot of new problems,” said John Canington, owner of Charlotte-based Canington Consultants, Inc. “For one, there’s no credit. People with good, creative ideas who want to grow their business and should be able to grow their business can’t get the money to do it.” In a March 11 event called “The Bottom Line for 2010: Incremental Growth,” Canington will discuss how business owners can use new marketing strategies to grow their companies despite roadblocks.
