By Sam Boykin CHARLOTTE — An eco-friendly industrial park might sound like an oxymoron, but the developers of a new commercial project in northwest Mecklenburg County hope to change that perception. The development, dubbed ReVenture Park, will be built along the Catawba River at the site of a former chemical plant. Located just north of the U.S. National Whitewater Center, the 667-acre site will be turned into what Lisa Lee Morgan calls an “eco-park.”
